Mike Brown performed the service.  For a time we thought we’d been married by a neo-conservative (which would have been quite a feat given their short supply in these parts).  There was something in his manner and hints in the conversation that led us to this conclusion.  As it turns out, he’s a Democrat.  So says our early ballot form.  You better believe he’s getting my vote this election season—he and the other 9 Justices of the Peace (Justice of the Peaces?) on the ballot.  Although, this may be inadvisable considering he couldn’t keep our state straight.  “By the power vested in me by the state of New Hamp-Vermont!, I now pronounce you…”
